About Us
The RC Players are a completely student-run theatre group at the University Michigan. Students direct, produce, and perform in all of our shows. Often we write them, too!
We have three main events during each semester: our Evening of Scenes, a selection of short comedic scenes; Red Eye, a 24-hour theatre experience in which scripts are written and rehearsed in the span of 24 hours; and Full Length shows (which can be either student-written OR previously published plays). Much of what we do is comedic theatre, but the RC Players have covered many genres throughout the years. The RC Players also hold weekly board meetings on Tuesdays at 9:30 pm in the Green Room in East Quad or via Zoom which are open to everyone!

You DON'T have to be in the RC (Residential College) to be involved with the RC Players!
